Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of operational teams or departments to achieve operational goals and targets.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular assessments of operational procedures, equipment, and systems, recommending enhancements or upgrades as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and company policies in all operational activities.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations on operational performance and present findings to upper management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in an operations supervisory or managerial role, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using software and systems relevant to operations management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork, motivation, and fostering a positive work culture.
