We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Labourers. The ideal candidates will assist in various construction tasks and support the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, loading and unloading materials, and setting up equipment.
  • Carry and distribute materials such as lumber, concrete, and tools to designated locations on the site.
  • Operate hand and power tools (under supervision), such as shovels, jackhammers, and drills, as needed.
  • Perform physical tasks, including digging trenches, mixing concrete, or assisting skilled tradespeople.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the construction site, ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment.
  • Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate with the construction team, follow instructions from supervisors, and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work well in a team, and maintain a strong work ethic.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous.

Tasks

  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
  • Mix, pour and spread materials
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes and hand tampers
