Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately in the general ledger.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reports.
  • Prepare and maintain financial documents, including invoices, bills, and bank deposits.
  • Process payroll and manage employee compensation records.
  • Produce financial reports summarizing the company’s financial status.
  • Monitor financial discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding financial matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial transactions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are a plus.

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
