Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately in the general ledger.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reports.
- Prepare and maintain financial documents, including invoices, bills, and bank deposits.
- Process payroll and manage employee compensation records.
- Produce financial reports summarizing the company’s financial status.
- Monitor financial discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial transactions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are a plus.
