We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Maintain accurate ledgers by reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including generating invoices, managing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
  • Assist in payroll processing, including calculating wages, deductions, and preparing payroll reports.
  • Monitor and manage petty cash, expense reimbursements, and credit card transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to support financial audits and provide necessary documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are advantageous.

  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
